About Me


I have always wanted to pick up a camera, but photography for me was always one of those things that "I'd do when the kids are older", you know that one, right? On our 15th wedding anniversary my husband bought me my first camera. There were no more excuses, it was time to fulfill a dream. SimplySummer was born!

It's quite an honor to have been in some amazing experiences; from the birthing room to an African refugee village to the moment a family said goodbye to a family member. To me there is no greater fulfillment than capturing the bond between humans, regardless of the context.


Each session is catered to my subject's needs and my goal is for each individual to be comfortable and connected with their experience.
